Our Mission
At Thrive Life Project, our mission is to bring comfort, care, and curiosity to families navigating childhood illness. We provide healthy meals and STEM enrichment opportunities to help families not just survive—but thrive—through some of life’s most difficult moments.
Our Story: Inspired by Payton
At home, the challenges didn’t stop. Meal planning became a burden. Our other children needed their own support and joy during a heavy time. In March 2024, we felt inspired to start something. By March 2025, we realized what helped us most were healthy meals and fun, stimulating activities for the kids. From that, Thrive Life Project was born.
On January 25, 2025, our world changed.
That was the day our son, Payton Arnold, was diagnosed with High Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. In the days and weeks that followed, we were overwhelmed, exhausted, and scared—trying to process the news while juggling the needs of Payton and his three brothers. His treatment began at Primary Children’s Hospital, three hours away from our home. We traveled weekly for his care during the first year, spending long days in the hospital and even longer nights trying to hold everything together.

Why We Do This
We understand what it’s like to live in hospital rooms, to drive hours for treatments, to try to stay strong for your children while feeling lost inside. But we’ve also experienced the light—the relief of a delivered meal, the laughter of siblings opening a fun activity kit, the hope that comes when someone shows up and says, “We see you. You’re not alone.”

Who We Serve
We support families of children facing cancer and other long-term illnesses. Our programs are available in select areas, and we strive to reach as many families as possible—regardless of income or background.

What Makes Us Different
- We’ve lived it—every meal and every kit we send is rooted in real experience.
- We focus on practical, meaningful support: nourishment and learning.
- Our programs serve the whole family, not just the patient, because every member is affected.
